Privacy Policy
The short version: the game has no account, no sign-in and no server of ours, and we do not collect anything about you. Your progress stays on your device. Free players see ads from Google AdMob, and purchases are confirmed by RevenueCat; those two companies handle some device information under their own policies, described below.
Who we are
Arcane Estate: Rune Puzzles ("the game") is published by Brewster Wickersham Publications ("we", "us"). You can reach us at info@brewsterwickershampublications.com.
What we collect
Nothing. We do not collect, receive or store any information about you, and we have no server for the game to send it to.
What stays on your device
Your progress (the estate, your streak, your settings and which purchases you own) is saved in the app's storage on your own device. It never leaves your device unless you choose to write a copy yourself from Settings → Your save. Deleting the app deletes it.
Daily reminders, if you turn them on, are scheduled by your device. Nothing is sent to us.
Share cards are made on your device and handed to your phone's share menu. They contain no runes and nothing about you, and they go only where you send them.
Third-party services
The game uses two services run by other companies, on Android and on iPhone and iPad. They act under their own privacy policies, and we do not receive the information they collect.
- Google AdMob shows ads to players who have not removed them. AdMob may collect device identifiers such as the advertising ID (Android) or the identifier for advertisers (iOS), your IP address and an approximate location derived from it, and information about ad interactions and app performance, to serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud. On Android, where the law requires it, you are asked for consent first, and you can change that choice in Settings → Privacy choices. On iPhone and iPad, the game asks permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any tracking; if you decline, the identifier for advertisers is not shared. You can also reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device's settings. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
- RevenueCat processes in-app purchases made through Google Play or the App Store. It receives purchase records, a randomly generated app user identifier and basic device information such as device type, operating system version and country, so that your purchases can be confirmed and restored. Payment itself is handled by Google or Apple; we never see your payment details. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Paying patrons see no ads, and the daily rite never shows one.
Deleting your data
Uninstalling the game deletes everything it stored on your device. Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to delete on our side. To have RevenueCat's purchase record removed, email us and we will pass the request on; you would then need to restore purchases through the store.
Children
The game is suitable for all ages, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
